Job Specification:
As a Pharmacist, you will be an integral part of an experienced team, delivering top-notch healthcare services to the local community. This role is perfect for newly registered pharmacists looking to learn from seasoned professionals while providing a range of professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and efficiently.
Utilise the FRED Dispense and POS System.
Provide exemplary patient counselling and advice to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local allied healthcare professionals.
Offer professional services, including vaccinations.
Foster friendly yet professional relationships with all community members.
Skills Required:
General registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Organised, reliable, and possess a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain rapport with customers.
Ability to address customer needs with sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism.
Vaccination accreditation.
Salary & Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $50-$60/hr plus superannuation.
Penalty Rates: Additional rates for Saturdays and Sundays.
Relocation Assistance: $1,000 plus travel expenses covered.
Work Schedule: 38 hours per week, including a rotating Saturday and Sunday with penalty rates.
Additional Information:
Computer System: FRED.
Script Trade: 220 scripts per day during the week, 130 on Saturday, 120 on Sunday.
Shop Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-6pm, Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 10am-5pm.
Work Environment: Collaborate with another pharmacist, one dispensary technician, and three shop staff on each shift.
Special Services: Manage 12 methadone patients and 100 community DAA packs.
