Pharmacist Manager - South Australia

Client & Location Information:
Port Augusta is a small coastal city approximately 300 km north of Adelaide, at the crossroads of great Australian adventures. With affordable living and diveristy of cultures, this is not a location to be overlooked. The pharmacy is not only well established in the community, but also well respected.
Job Specification:
As the Pharmacist Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the pharmacy, ensuring exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Running the dispensary and managing stock control
- Supervising and managing staff
- Delivering professional services and counselling customers
- Conducting medication reviews and liaising with other health professionals
- Providing NDSS related services and managing PBS claims
- Ensuring compliance with board guidelines and dispensing regulations
Skills Required:
- General registration with AHPRA
- Proven experience as a pharmacist
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Friendly and approachable manner
- Proficiency with Dispense Works computer system
Salary & Benefits:
- Pay: $65-$70 per hour (weekdays)
- Additional Benefits: Accommodation and travel provided
- Work Hours: Full-time (38 hours preferred)
- Shop Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday 9 am - 12 pm
- Team Structure: Not a sole pharmacist except at the beginning and end of shifts, supported by 2 dispensary technicians and other shop staff
- Special Services: Methadone/ORT/CPOP with 5 patients, Webster packing (200 packs)
