Pharmacist Manager - South Australia

Port Augusta is a small coastal city approximately 300 km north of Adelaide, at the crossroads of great Australian adventures. Job Specification:

As the Pharmacist Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the pharmacy, ensuring exceptional customer service. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Running the dispensary and managing stock control
• Supervising and managing staff
• Delivering professional services and counselling customers
• Conducting medication reviews and liaising with other health professionals
• Providing NDSS related services and managing PBS claims
• Ensuring compliance with board guidelines and dispensing regulations

Skills Required:

• General registration with AHPRA
• Proven experience as a pharmacist
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Friendly and approachable manner
• Proficiency with Dispense Works computer system

Salary & Benefits:

• Pay: $65-$70 per hour (weekdays)
• Additional Benefits: Accommodation and travel provided
• Work Hours: Full-time (38 hours preferred)
• Shop Hours: Monday - Friday 9 am - 5:30 pm, Saturday 9 am - 12 pm
• Team Structure: Not a sole pharmacist except at the beginning and end of shifts, supported by 2 dispensary technicians and other shop staff
• Special Services: Methadone/ORT/CPOP with 5 patients, Webster packing (200 packs)
